God's Families was one of the first agencies working in international adoption in Kazakhstan directly with their government since 1999, and it continues to be one of our most popular program for couples, single mothers, and families seeking younger and older children, with both European and Asian (and mixed) ethnicities. Kazakhstan is located on the southern border of western Russia and is a former Soviet republic since 1991. |
CHILDREN AVAILABLE |
- Infants from 7 months, toddlers and children (maximum age is 16).
- Both boys and girls available.
- Biological sibling groups also available, typically ages usually 5 on up.
- Medical information provided to adoptive parents including testing for HIV, TB, Hepatitis, and general health information.

QUALIFICATIONS |
- Married couples or single women (unmarried or divorced).
- No FBI criminal record.
- Good health.
- Reasonable income.
- Ages 25 to 55. Not more than 2 divorces per spouse.
- Both spouses must be of same (country) citizenship.

APPROXIMATE WAIT |
- Homestudy/USCIS/dossier approval in Kazakhstan required for travel.
- approximately 6-9 months after dossier approval parents take child home.

TRAVEL |
- All major European airlines service Kazakhstan including KLM, British Airlines and Lufthansa (God's Families refers travel agencies upon request)
- God's Families bilingual in-country regional teams meet you at the airport and provide support throughout your stay.
- God's Families will coordinate all in-country housing, translators and transportation.

REQUIREMENTS |
- Option of 1 or 2 trips
- Both parents must travel, 14 day bonding period with child + time to get court hearing scheduled and completed (approximately 1 week in most regions, one or both parents can then return home). 15 day waiting period required after court hearing before child is released.
- All documents translated into Russian by approved translator (God's Families arranges)
- All documents apostilled on at state level (God's Families always reviews and submits all documents for its adoptive families to all authorities requiring apostilles and approvals for at no extra cost)
- Annual self-constructed post adoption report (no social worker) until child is 18. (God's Families assists)
