God's Families has been helping families bring home their daughters from China since 1998. Working with our CCAA registered partner agency, this program continues to be a favorite for qualifying couples who want to adopt infant and toddler girls of Chinese descent. |

QUALIFICATIONS |
- Couples only
- Married at least 2 years
- If prior divorce, married at least 5 years
- Not more than 2 divorces per spouse
- Age 30-50
- In good health, BMI of 40 or below
- No criminal record
- Free of psychotropic meds for 2 years
- No more than 4 children already in home
- Minimum income of $30,000 if first child

APPROXIMATE WAIT |
- Child referrals usually within 12-14 months after dossier is forwarded to China
- Family accepts referral, receives permission to travel for finalization in country
- Travel to child’s province and then exit through the US Embassy in Guang Zhou

TRAVEL |
- All major Asian air carriers with service to China, usually departing from Los Angeles or San Francisco
- One or both parents travel
- approximately 10-14 days in country
- In-country teams escort family throughout China

REQUIREMENTS |
- All documents translated into Chinese (God's Families arranges)
- All documents certified on state, federal and China Consulate/Embassy level.
(God's Families always reviews and submits all documents for adoptive families to all authorities requiring certification at no extra cost). Cost of certifications varies from state to state from $1-$20. Some states require county certification.
- 2 post-supervision interviews/reports required with social worker/agency at 6 months and 12 months after child arrives home.

- Dossier certifications (cost of certifications only) approximately $500 (varies by state)
- CCAA fees $565
- China gov’t. notarization and registrations ($400-$800)
- Orphanage fee (required donation) $3000
- Child's passport $100-$150
- Round trip to China approximately $3000
- Interior flights approximately $800 per couple
- Food approximately $500
- Lodging approximately $2000
- Visas for parent’s approximately $200
- Airfare for infant (one-way lap ticket) $300
- US Embassy visa $380
- US physical $75
