God's Families International Adoption Services

Our Mission of International Adoption

We think everyone would agree that every child should grow up in a loving, harmonious family atmosphere full of love and happiness that allows that child to thrive. But when the child's birth family or a family in the child's native country cannot provide these fundamental needs, international adoption is obviously the best option.

God's Families strives to provide adoptive services to its families while following a high standard of practice that includes fundamental values such as honesty, integrity, commitment and ethical behavior.

Our agency, including our staff and policies and procedures, was established and is guided by fundamental Christian values and biblical principles. It is our foundation.

We at God's Families are also strongly committed and subscribe to the code of ethics outlined in "The Hague Convention on Protection of Children and Cooperation in Respect to Intercountry Adoption" that have become the new standards of international adoption.

These standards are designed to protect the rights of children, birth parents and adoptive parents alike.

Adopted siblings from UkraineIt is our commitment to provide adoption services with the highest ethical standards within these source countries, and adhere by all policies and procedures of the source country. We ask families to understand that any action and behavior during any adoption can build bridges or close doors, especially for future children waiting. Sensitivity and diplomacy are key.

International adoption, like any child bearing situation, is not an immediate process. It takes time and patience, just like parenting a child will. It will seem at times that things are moving too slow and are too bureaucratic. But we can be nothing but honored that any particular country has done what's best for the child, by making these children available to loving families worldwide and are privileged to "bring these children home."

We appreciate the opportunity to serve these children and their new families and believe that by operating by the "golden rule" enables us to provide the best services for everyone involved.
